Rheem participates at The BIG Show
Company receives overwhelming response to its range of high-end air-conditioning products showcased at the event
Rheem, in conjunction with its partner Leminar Air Conditioning, participated at The BIG (Builders International Gathering) Show — an annual international exhibition catering to the building and construction industry in Oman, the Middle East and global markets. The event took place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center on March 13-16, 2017.
The three-day event featured an extensive range of the latest building materials, construction equipment, wood machinery, interior furnishings, and equipment and technology for building and construction operations. At the event, Rheem, a global manufacturer in heating, cooling, and water heating products, showcased a range of high-end air-conditioning products such as their Thailand-manufactured 11.8 EER high-efficiency wall-mounted units, 9.5 EER wall-mount units with GMARK compliance, and North America-manufactured condensing units with oil separator, to name a few. The North America-manufactured condensing unit series is particularly applicable in high-rise buildings as the units can support piping of up to 30m vertical and 50m in total. In addition, Rheem also unveiled its rooftop package units (US-manufactured) and VRF units, thereby showcasing the company’s comprehensive air-conditioning range. As per a company spokesperson, Rheem received overwhelming enquires and responses to its products during the event.
The BIG Show is considered as the biggest and most important building, construction, and interior design event in Oman. The show was launched initially as Interiors and Buildex in 2002 and it rebranded later to The BIG Show in 2010 to further strengthen its image and market positioning. The annual exhibition provides a platform for local and international companies such as Rheem to take advantage of major opportunities in the industry as well as to learn about the key projects and developments in Oman.
In the Middle East, Rheem has been in service for over three decades with more than one million ton of air-conditioning products installed. Rheem’s product portfolio includes the following: full range of direct expansion air-conditioning solutions such as rooftop package units, ducted units, and decorative splits; advanced integrated air-conditioning, heating and water heating energy saving and comfort systems such as H2AC and HumidiDry; full range of water heating products including electric tank and tank-less water heaters (electric and gas), boilers, heat-pump water heaters, and solar-powered water heating solutions.
